Clyde Companies, Inc. was formed in 1997 to consolidate the various separate business entities owned and operated by the Clyde family of Springville. The Clyde business ventures started in 1926 with the formation of W.W. Clyde and Co. located in Springville and whose principal business is heavy highway and mass earth moving.
In 1954 Geneva Rock was formed to provide ready-mix concrete, asphalt, and sand and gravel products as well as excavation and paving construction activities. Beehive insurance was created to serve the insurance needs of the construction industry and business. All of these businesses are wholly owned subsidiaries of Clyde Companies, Inc. The Clyde organization is proud to continue this heritage as one of the oldest and strongest construction and construction materials firms in the state of Utah

In 2001, the Clyde Companies acquired Gorge Rock. Located in the beautiful mountain plains of Green River and Rock Springs, Wyoming--Gorge Rock provides ready mixed concrete and sand and gravel products to all of southwestern Wyoming. It is the dominant construction materials supplier in that area. Gorge Rock is known for making the impossible seem common place.
