As Chief Human Resource Officer at Clyde Companies, Shelly oversees talent acquisition, development initiatives, employee engagement and total rewards while supporting the company’s strategic objectives. Since joining as Director of Benefits and Retirement in 2022, she has made a significant impact on the organization’s Total Rewards strategy and was promoted to her current role in 2024.

Known for her data-driven approach and straightforward coaching style, Shelly brings over a decade of experience consulting with Fortune 500 companies. Her philosophy was shaped early in her sales career, where she discovered that focusing on client success naturally leads to mutual growth—a principle that still guides her leadership today.

Shelly holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and has earned distinguished certifications, including Leading and Managing Globally from Yale School of Management and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She dedicates time to mentoring rising professionals and is known for developing strong, capable teams.

Based in American Fork, Shelly and her husband treasure time with their five children and four grandchildren. When she’s not working, you’ll find her soaking up summer days outdoors or escaping to warm destinations during winter months.
