Mark Elder serves as President of Suncore Construction & Materials, leading the company’s operations and strategic growth across all divisions. With a focus on growth, safety, and community impact, he guides Suncore in building lasting value throughout the Intermountain West.

Mark began his career with Geneva Rock Products in 2004 and joined Suncore in 2006. He played a key role in expanding Suncore’s footprint across Idaho, growing from a single Boise location to a full-service construction and materials network spanning from Boise to Idaho Falls. In 2019, he was appointed Vice President of the Idaho Region before being named President.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Boise State University. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors for the Idaho Associated General Contractors (AGC).

Outside of work, Mark enjoys traveling with his family.
