Ryan Meyer is the President of Clyde Administrative Services (CAS) and Chief Financial Officer of Clyde Companies, the company’s enterprise shared services organization. He leads financial strategy and oversees finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, marketing, information technology, equipment, and property.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Doane University while playing basketball and holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, he is a licensed certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant.
His career began in public accounting with Deloitte in Dallas, Texas. From there, Ryan advanced through several roles at ConAgra Foods in Omaha, Nebraska, ending his tenure as a senior director within Enterprise Business Services. Prior to joining Clyde Companies, he served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Wells Enterprises in LeMars, Iowa.
A believer in giving back to the community, Ryan has served on multiple boards including the Economic Development Corporation of Utah, Zions Bank Utah Valley Region Advisory Board, the Salt Lake Chamber Finance and Professional Services Committee, the Business Uncertainty Panel of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the United Way of Siouxland, and executive director of the PlyWood Trail Foundation. He has also coached youth basketball for 12 years.
He and his wife, Jana, are the parents of two children. They enjoy traveling together and experiencing new places. Ryan also enjoys reading, spending time in the mountains, and firmly believes a day that includes back squatting is a good day.
