Remembering Norman Dean Clyde
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Norman “Norm” Dean Clyde, a beloved member of the Clyde family. Norm, the son of Ed Clyde and nephew of W.W. Clyde, dedicated his life to the growth and success of Clyde Companies.
As a child, Norm often played on the family farm, home to W.W. Clyde’s original shop and office. At 16, he officially joined the company as a laborer, mastering every piece of equipment and playing a key role in projects like Meeks Cabin Dam and significant stretches of Interstate 15.
After a long and successful career, Norm retired at the age of 77 but continued serving on the Board of Directors until earlier this year. He often spoke with pride about the “grand enterprise” Clyde Companies has become.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Tanque Verde Ward, 9541 East Snyder Rd in Tucson, Arizona. Funeral services will follow at noon at the same location.
Please join us in remembering Norm and the lasting impact he had on our company.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Hafen
