Clyde Companies Donates to Beavers Association for BYU Scholarships

Clyde Companies recently made a $50,000 donation to the Beavers Association, an organization of heavy civil contractors formed, organized, and managed by individuals engaged in heavy engineering construction.

The donation, matched by $50,000 in funds from the Beavers Association, were used to establish the Beavers Endowed Fund in Civil and Construction Engineering at Brigham Young University.

An additional $25,000 was donated from the Beavers Association following BYU’s performance at the 2021 Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) competition earlier this year. The Cougars placed first in the Rocky Mountain Region, competing against construction-related programs from nine states.

In total, all $125,000 donated in 2021 will be used to provide scholarships for BYU students in need.

At Clyde Companies, our focus is on building a better community. Whether it’s sponsoring local high school athletic teams, collecting food and clothing for the less fortunate, or racing for a cure, we’re committed to improving the places we call home. Since our start in 1926, millions of dollars in cash, products, and services have been donated to worthy causes in our communities, including this donation to the Beavers Association.
