The Provo Early Intervention Annual Truck Event was a hit, filled with the excitement of children ages 0-3 exploring a variety of trucks and emergency vehicles. This year’s event featured an impressive lineup, with Miles the Sweeper Truck serving as one of the highlights.
Kids had the chance to touch and explore Miles, a dump truck, several garbage trucks, police vehicles, a Cybertruck and more. Drivers of many of the vehicles offered prizes and were ready to explain what their trucks did. The children’s faces lit up as they climbed into the driver’s seats, honked horns and collected takeaways.
Miles can often be seen along the highways of Utah, keeping our streets clean and safe by sweeping up debris and litter. Equipped with powerful brushes and vacuums, Miles works hard to help our communities.
“It’s so fun to be part of something that brings so much joy and also supports a great cause,” said Dustin McClellan, Miles’ operator. “These little ones are incredible, and it’s an honor to give them a fun experience.”
Provo Early Intervention, the host of this event, supports young children with developmental delays and disabilities. They provide essential services like speech therapy, physical therapy and educational programs tailored to each child’s needs. Their work is vital in giving these children the best start in life, and events like this help bring awareness to the families they serve.
The Provo Early Intervention Annual Truck Event not only provided a day of fun for the kids but also highlighted the importance of community support and awareness for developmental services. Clyde Companies is proud to contribute to such meaningful events.
