Clyde Companies has been ranked in several categories of the 2022 Book of Lists, compiled annually by the Utah Business Magazine. The Book of Lists showcases Utah business rankings based on company-provided data.
Combining full-time Utah employees from Geneva Rock and Sunroc, Clyde Companies ranked No. 1 in the list of Sand & Gravel Producers with 2,776 employees. Between the two companies, 13,580 million tons of sand and gravel were produced in 2021.
Beehive Insurance finished No. 7 in the Commercial Insurance Brokers list. Based on 2020 numbers, Beehive Insurance totaled $154 million in Utah premiums. The list also shows that 99.9% of Beehive Insurance’s brokerage came from retail.
Additionally, Beehive Insurance took No. 11 in the list of Employee Group Benefits, ranked by the average number of businesses serviced per year. Beehive Insurance’s 280 businesses account for 1,025 plans being issued or renewed, covering 7,000 employees.
