Wilford Clyde to Be Honored as Giant in Our City

Wilford W. Clyde, Chairman of Clyde Companies, is set to be honored as the recipient of the 44th Giant in Our City award given annually by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.

“We could not be more excited for Wilford to be honored as the next ‘Giant in Our City,’” said Derek Miller, president & CEO, Salt Lake Chamber and Downtown Alliance. “His leadership, business acumen and stewardship are exceptional. At his core, Wilford is a builder, not only of highways, bridges and dams, but of communities. He serves on numerous boards and donates his time and resources to help secure our future. Wilford is a true leader and an example anyone can aspire to.”

The award honors those with exceptional and distinguished service, as well as extraordinary professional achievement, and is widely recognized as the most prestigious business award given in Utah.

The event will take place on April 27, 2023, from 6-9 p.m., and will include a reception, dinner, and program at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
