Clyde Companies Donates $200,000 to Utah Tech University

Utah Tech Clyde Lounge

Clyde Companies recently donated $200,000 in support of athletics at Utah Tech University—helping with upgrades of the Greater Zion Stadium.

“We sincerely appreciate Clyde Companies’ support for the stadium project and Utah Tech University,” said Lance Brown, Director of Athletic Development at Utah Tech University, “This project, which would not have happened without them, will impact the lives of Washington County residents and visitors for decades. We are honored that this beautiful and important space bears the name of one of the area’s most recognizable and charitable companies.”

As part of the generous donation, a permanent lounge bearing the Clyde name was added to the arena. The Clyde Lounge is a 2,500 square foot addition to Greater Zion Stadium. Standing 90 feet in the air, the Lounge contains phenomenal views of the field and some of St. George’s most iconic features.

The Lounge itself will play host for the Trailblazer Club (200-250 people) during Utah Tech football games and other high-level events throughout the year. The room bears the name Clyde Lounge at both entrances and prominently within the lounge. It also showcases all of Clyde Companies’ logos.

In addition to donations to the athletic department, Clyde Companies is proud to offer scholarships, internships, and employment opportunities to Utah Tech University students on an annual basis. Clyde Companies believes in investing heavily in local institutions of higher learning. It’s part of our roadmap to Building a Better Community.
