Ally Isom, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at Clyde Companies, was a panelist in the Women’s Leadership Institute’s (WLI) “Breakfast Brainstorm” event. The event was part of the WLI’s ElevateHER Challenge, a commitment made by companies to promote the advancement of women’s leadership.
Isom joined Alex Adema, CEO of DPS Skis, and Wyatt R. Hume, Dean of the University of Utah School of Dentistry, on the panel to discuss the topic of “Recruiting Women in a Male Dominated Industry.”
“I jumped at the chance to tell business leaders that Clyde Companies is an exceptional workplace for women and share Clyde’s story of making a difference in communities,” Isom said. “We have to dispel misperceptions about women in leadership, particularly in our industries of construction, insurance, and land development. From backing the Clyde Challenge Pay Equity Match to supporting WLI’s ElevateHER Challenge, Clyde Companies walks the walk. I’m so proud of that!”
This exclusive networking and learning event brought together executives and HR leaders from organizations across Utah that previously accepted the ElevateHER Challenge. By accepting the ElevateHER Challenge, organizations pledge to support female leadership and pay parity.
A challenge participant, Clyde Companies strives to support women in employment, development, and leadership.
